In its strategic location in central Georgia, Dodge County is home to a diverse range of industries.  Major highways in the area, as well as the Heart of Georgia Regional Airport, allow for national transportation.   The north-south rail service that runs through the county provides additional ground shipment of manufactured or other products.   Daily switching services are provided in Eastman and rail spurs to industrial sites are available. 

With accessible plant sites, excellent utilities and skilled labor, Dodge county is positioned to support existing industries and to welcome new business and industry to the area.  

A number of companies in the county are major manufacturers and employers.  Collectively, these companies provide jobs for almost a thousand people.
