Downtown Boutique


A new boutique, Marketplace, graced the downtown streets of Eastman
on Thursday, December 16,2010, with a ribbon cutting celebration to announce
Marketplace’srelocation to Main Street. TheEastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member and owner, Roy
Grenade,during a ribbon cutting ceremony, and thanked Grenade for his
investment in Dodge County’seconomic health and downtown
revitalization.
Formerly called Marketplace on Fifth, Grenade re-named the boutique Marketplace to
reflect its newlocation at 209 Main Street. Marketplace stocks a variety of
designer handbags, accessories, homeaccents, and gifts ideal for any
occasion.

An Eastman landmark, the Magnolia Theater, brightened Main Street
in Eastman on Thursday, November 19, 2010, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of
Commerce welcomed new members, the Dodge Arts Guild with a plaque presentation, as they unveiled recent
improvements to the Magnolia Theater. Established to promote the arts in Dodge County, the Dodge Arts Guild is an
active sponsor of cultural events, a venue provider, and an educational extension of the Dodge County school
system. The Dodge Arts Guild invites the community to attend the next Magnolia Music and Medicine Show on December
11 from 7-9 p.m.


Dynamic Paint
Solutions Honored in Plaque Presentation
On Thursday, September 30 10, 2010, the
Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce presented a membership plaque
to Robert Pruitt and the staff of Dynamic Paint Solutions who joined
the Chamber of Commerce. Located at 415 Airport Road in
Eastman, Dynamic Paint Solutions provides metal-finishing services
which exceed the rigorous standards
demanded by the aerospace industry. Established in April, 2007, Dynamic
Paint Solutions is certified by NADCAP for chemical processing. The

ReSell Therapy Celebrates
Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
On Thursday, August 26, 2010, the Eastman-Dodge County
Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of their newest member, ReSell Therapy Thrift Store, by hosting a
ribbon-cutting ceremony. ReSell Therapy benefits RAFT Inc., a local non-profit social service organization
which provides services such as parenting skills, mentorship, educational assistance, and more to the Dodge County
community.
“We welcome Billy Yarbrough and the staff of ReSell Therapy, and appreciate their
immense contribution to this community,” stated Eastman-Dodge County Area Chamber of Commerce President
&CEO/Economic Developer Judy Madden.

Soo’s Fashion Joins Cham ber of Commerce
On Friday, September 3, 2010, the Eastman-Dodge County
Chamber of Commerce honored of their newest member, Soo’s Fashion, at a plaque presentation. Located at 231
Main Street in historic downtown Eastman, Soo’s Fashion stocks hair products, fashion accessories, and a wide range
of hair pieces.
“We thank Soo’s Fashion for helping keep Eastman’s downtown thriving, and appreciate
Mr. Kim’s investment in this community,” stated Eastman-Dodge County Area Chamber of Commerce President
&CEO/Economic Developer Judy Madden.

Sears: A Hometown Store Honored during Plaque Presentation
On Thursday, September 2, 2010, the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce presented a
membership plaque to Rodney Noles and the staff of Sears: A Hometown Store.
“Thank you for continuing to invest and improve Dodge County,” stated Representative Jimmy Pruett. Kennon Graham,
Chairman of the Eastman/Dodge County Chamber of Commerce reiterated the gratitude for Noles’ investment in Dodge
County’s future by welcoming Sears and offering the Chamber of Commerce’s full support and range of member
services.

Thursday, August 5, 2010, with a grand opening celebration. The Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce welcomed
new member and owner, Sherry Milner, during a ribbon cutting ceremony, and thanked Milner for her investment in
Dodge County's economic health and downtown revitalization.
Perfect
Hearts Children's Boutique stocks children's boutique brand clothing, accessories, and gifts, and is located at 217
Main Street in historic downtown Eastman. Milner invites parents to shop with their children, and has provided a
play area for her younger clients.
