Sharon Cobb Flanagan
Sharon Cobb Flanagan, Secretary and Vice-Chair for Organizational Development, is Owner of Five Otters, LLC, and has over 35 years of business and systems/software engineering experience. As a Senior Vice President for Governance and Risk at Science Applications International Corporation, she served as Director of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement, responsible for governance, risk, customer satisfaction, quality, policies, processes, improvements, and achievements of world class credentials for their Defense Solutions Group. She also worked for GTE Government Systems (General Dynamics), McDonnell Douglas, National Technical Institute for the Deaf, and IIT Research Institute. She graduated from Dodge County High, received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology, and completed numerous courses at California Lutheran University towards a master's degree in organizational behavior, various leadership courses with MIT Sloan Management, and programs on Leadership for Senior Executives at the Center for Management Research. She is on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Olive Growers Association, is the founding Chair of the Dodge County Farmer’s Market Authority, is a Director with the Rotary Club of Eastman, and a Dodge County High School Council Member. She’s an author of technical publications and papers, invited speaker at conferences and workshops on engineering standards and processes, was a member of the Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI) program, American Society for Quality, and IEEE Computer Society. She was an SEI-certified Lead Appraiser and is a Motorola-certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She served on the Board of Directors for the Shepherds Center of Oakton-Vienna (SCOV), was a volunteer with College Access-Fairfax advocating support that helps financially at-risk students enter college, and FIRST Robotics. She chaired the technical sub-committee for the development of the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in San Diego and was a volunteer for Code-3-For-Kids, a police organization that helped homeless children. She and her husband Mike attend the First United Methodist Church.
Mr. McCranie is retired after serving 32 years in the educational system of Dodge County. However, he remains active with the National Beta Club in the schools. He has served as Beta Club State Sponsor twice and is currently in his 12th year as a member of the Georgia State Beta Club Council. He is a past Dodge County Outstanding Citizen-of-the-Year.
Mr. McCranie is a city council member for the town of Chauncey and is the Director of Music and Chairman of the deacons at Chauncey Baptist Church. He resides in Chauncey with his wife, Beverly.

Received Outstanding Student Award in Management (Class of 1996)
Owns and operates Eastman Drugs, Inc.
Actively works with the Dodge Arts Guild and member of First Baptist Church in Eastman.
