• Chamber Announces 2013 Board of Directors

    On December 14, 2012, the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce announced its 2013 Board of Directors. Serving in 2013 are: Dena Barrows, Board of Education, Kelly Bowen, Medical Prescription Shop, David Brockway, MGC,  Aviation Campus Director, Stephanie Burton, Public Defender, Debbie Connell, Communities in Schools of Dodge County, Kristal DiCarlo, Alcoa Architectural Products, Freddie Dwozan, Medical Prescription Shop, Kennon Graham, Bank of Eastman, Jennifer Greer, Jenny Louise Boutique, Mike Harrell, Stuckey Timberland,  Carl Hosford, Chester Realty, Audrey Hurd, Martha Sheldon Florist, Carla Jessup, Heart of GA RESA, Martin Kehayes, MGC, Aviation Campus, Bill Lowery, Coleman Gifts & Framing, Joey Marchant, Attorney, Tom Pezold, McDonald’s, Stephen Pritchett, Heart of GA Metal Crafters, Robert Pruitt, Dynamic Paint Solutions, Dusty Pruett, Pruett Air Conditioning, Stephanie Ricks, J.F. Kimmons & Associates, Rae Spradley, Southside Market, Jeffrey Underwood, Ocmulgee EMC, and Clint Williams, Stamps-Walker Insurance Agency.

    New appointees to the Board of Directors include: Dena Barrows, Carl Hosford, Robert Pruitt, and Rae Spradley. Due to a recent change in the by-laws, four positions on the Board were created to allow for representation of each of the outlaying municipalities: Dena Barrows will represent Rhine, Freddie Dwozan will serve as representative for Milan, Kennon Graham will represent Chauncey, and Carl Hosford will serve as representative for Chester.

    Retiring Board of Directors include: Butch Kirkley, Mimi Dennis, Keshia Jones, and D’Ann Register.
    “We appreciate the dedication of our retiring directors, and thank the Board for their continued hard work. We look forward to leading with a renewed sense of energy and unity in 2013,” said Judy Hemphill Madden, President, Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce.

    With a reinvigorated program of work and county-wide representation, the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce is connecting the pieces for economic and community development in 2013, and invites your input. Board meeting are held the fourth Thursday of each month at noon in the Chamber Hall, with the exception of November and December when the board meets the third Thursday and July when the Board does not meet.
